Food Rescue Capital Campaign
Help us replace our forklift and cargo vanYou can make a difference in your community, help eliminate food waste and help make sure our most vulnerable have a hot meal.
Horizons ‘rescues’ over 350,000 pounds of food each year. Almost all of which we have to go out and pick up.
Broken equipment often leaves us unable to do our important work. We’re raising money to replace our aging forklift and our rusty van so we can continue to rescue food and feed the hungry in our community.
While our entire campaign aims to raise a total of $70,000, we’re asking our Facebook Fans, Friends and community members to help us raise $5000 of that amount.
