Building for Tomorrow

Campaign Goal

Amount Raised to Date

Project Description

Every year, more and more Quincy families struggle with hunger and food insecurity.  Since 2008, Horizons has been there to help.  As the need continues to grow, so does our desire to do more, to serve more, and to love more.

The Horizons Building Campaign is our bold and faithful investment in the present and future needs of Quincy’s poorest and most vulnerable residents.  Through the purchase and completion of our new 13,000 square foot facility, the generous friends and patrons of Horizons will be sharing in God’s desire to care for those in need and to reach out to the lost, the broken and the marginalized in our community.

Project Details

Our campaign goal is to raise a total of $900,000.

This will allow us to completely finish and furnish our new facility at 224 S. 8th Street.

Food Pantry - OPEN FOR SERVICE

The Horizons Food Pantry is OPEN in our new location at 224 S. 8th Street.  While we are in the process of raising the necessary funds to complete the building project, our Food Pantry is open and serving client families every Monday from 10 am to Noon and 1 pm to 3 pm.

The new pantry is double the size and has an expanded seating area and a private check-in for clients.  We have served eight to ten new families each week since opening the new food pantry.

Will you invest in the future?

Horizons is the story of a community committed to caring… a story of churches uniting, neighborhoods banding together, and corporations connecting… all in a united effort to feed the poor and hungry in our community.  Your donation is an investment in the well-being of our community.  Food is much more than mealtime sustenance.  Food can renew health, reconnect families, restore vibrant communities and improve the economy.

Please make a commitment to help us build a better future.
