Our Services

Soup Kitchen

Location: 224 South 8th Street
Hours: Monday-Friday from Noon-1pm & Sunday 5-6pm

We serve delicious, nutritious meals each weekday to those in need in Quincy, IL.

For many individuals, their meal at Horizons is their only source of fruits and vegetables. Our nutrition goal is to optimize every available resource for fresh fruits and vegetables, and in turn, work to prevent obesity and other chronic diseases.

Horizons and our partners are working together to create a healthy, thriving community.

Food Pantry

Location: 224 South 8th Street in Quincy
Hours: Sundays from 2-4pm and Wednesdays from 10:30am-12:30pm

We are a client-choice pantry which means that instead of a fixed box of items, our clients can select from a wide variety of foods that best fit their needs.

We’ve doubled the size of our pantry which allows us to more variety and accept larger donations.

Addicts Victorious

Location: 224 South 8th Street

Support is ALWAYS available and meeting times are as followed:
Mondays:   7-8p Support Group meeting
Tuesdays:   7-8p Support Group meeting
Thursdays: 4-5p Women’s Support Group meeting
                     5-6p Men’s Support Group meeting

Addicts Victorious is a Christ-centered organization in which people help people, through God’s power, to receive salvation, deliverance, and restoration.

Since 1987, Addicts Victorious has been helping people overcome their everyday problems, fears, and addictive behaviors. This is done through the use of support group meetings, a four-day Biblical counseling program, and individual counseling.

At Addicts Victorious we have found a prescription for addiction. Through the power of Jesus Christ, any addiction can be completely broken. Hundreds of people have been set free from addictions such as:

  • alcohol
  • drugs
  • eating disorders
  • gambling
  • sexual/pornography
  • smoking

Problem thinking we can help with

In today’s world, it can be hard to have a good attitude. But, through God’s word, the Bible, it is possible to walk in victory and enjoy your life.
