Christmas Carols at the Soup Kitchen
The children from River of Life Church serenaded the guests of Horizons today with a beautiful selection of Christmas carols. Thanks kids… Everyone enjoyed your singing!
Community Foundation Grant
A thoughtful donor who believed in Horizons’ mission to feed the poor and needy, established this fund to help ensure that Horizons will continue to serve the community today and on into the future!
Pizza Donations
St. Peter’s Catholic School students and parents donated 146 pizzas to Horizons. We can feed over 500 meals in our soup kitchen with these pizzas. Thanks to everyone who made this donations possible.
Great River Referral Group Donation
The Great River Referral Group presenting Horizons a donation of food items from their recent food drive. They also presented Horizons with a check for $500! We are so grateful to be blessed with this donation!

❗️A : Speaking with our friends at Horizons they have said a specific need right now in our community would be Body Wash, Shampoo, Canned Soup and Instant Oatmeal.
We are excited to take on another month with you, making more KRAZY memories and be able to give a little back to our community!

Thanks to the generous donation of 11 hogs from Steve and Teresa Metzger, Horizons distributed nearly 2,000 lbs of pork to our local pantry partners. We’re grateful to support Brown County, Open Hands Food Pantry, Quanada, St. Francis Solanus Parish - Quincy, Illinois, Ladies of Charity, Luther Memorial Church, Quincy IL, The Salvation Army - Quincy, IL and Barry Food Pantry in their mission to serve our community.
We are truly so blessed to receive this generous donation! 💙
