The Operation Serve Youth from St. John’s Anglican Parish collected over 3000 canned goods at the 2014 Dogwood Parade in Quincy, Illinois. This is the third year that the youth have collected food along the parade route to support those who are hungry in our community.
The non-perishable items collected at the Dogwood Parade were donated to four Quincy food pantries. Pictured above you will see the generous donation that Horizons received form their effort. The other food pantries that received donations were the Salvation Army, QUANADA and Madonna House.
